SilencerCo has introduced a new line of threaded aftermarket pistol barrels, making suppressor attachment easier than ever. The new threaded pistol barrels are manufactured from 416 stainless steel and feature a black nitride finish. Currently, they are only available for the Glock 17 and Glock 21, but the company plans to offer barrels for most common Glock models this year and add select SIG Sauer, Springfield XD and Smith & Wesson M&P models in the first quarter of 2015. According to SilencerCo, the introduction of the threaded aftermarket pistol barrels is the first of several planned accessory expansions. Threaded pistol barrels for both the Glock 17 and Glock 21 are available for $220.

Breaking Down the Matrix of the New World Order
From Survival and BeyondBy Ed Corcoran The more you start looking into the things that are going on in the world and the less you pay attention to the corporate-controlled “mainstream” media, the more it becomes obvious that there is a movement taking place that’s pushing us towards a global government and the ultimate loss of our individual freedoms, liberties and quality of life. The systems and mechanisms that have been directing the course of our economy, government and society in America are various and sundry, with many seemingly disparate and unrelated branches and platforms. Due to gradual and continuous conditioning and indoctrination, these control mechanisms have not only managed…
RIP John Noveske
Unfortunately it looks like the firearms world is off to a rough start in 2013, John Noveske of Noveske Rifleworks based out of Oregon has passed away. He was killed in a car accident on Friday, January 4th. According to Flashalert.net: Sergeant Tyler Lee, on January 4, 2013 at approximately 9:13 p.m., a 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser driven by JOHN NOVESKE, age 36, from Grants Pass, was westbound on Highway 260 near El Camino Way. As the vehicle negotiated a right curve, it traveled across the oncoming lane onto the dirt highway shoulder until it struck two large boulders. The vehicle rolled and NOVESKE was ejected. NOVESKE, who is the owner of a local rifle manufacturing company, was not using safety restraints and was…

5 Lessons From the Panic of 2012
From Survival and BeyondTEOTWAWKI Blog The gun control madness has been frustrating for most of us, but I think there are some helpful observations we can extrapolate from the whole mess. This time around, we’re seeing panic buying of guns, magazines and ammunition. Now, extend that to the initial hours/days after a wide scale collapse scenario, when you have people running out and buying anything and everything under the sun. Food. Water. Batteries. Tools. Camping gear. Everything. Using the current panic buying environment as a case study, here are a few things you can expect to see: #1. Have what you need on hand: Pretty self explanatory. You don’t want to…

Hurricane Sandy and Normalcy Bias
On Monday, October 29, Hurricane Sandy slammed into the east coast, wreaking havoc on the Jersey shore and New York City. Sandy lived up to expectations — and then some. In fact, it set a few records in the “hurricane” category. For example, CNN reports: When hurricane hunter aircraft measured its central pressure at 940 millibars — 27.76 inches — Monday afternoon, it was the lowest barometric reading ever recorded for an Atlantic storm to make landfall north of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. The previous record holder was the 1938 “Long Island Express” Hurricane, which dropped as low as 946 millibars. Sandy’s strength and angle of approach combined to produce a record storm surge of water into New York City. The surge level at Battery …
Winter Survival Kit for Your Car
From Survival and BeyondBy Craig Caudill – Dan’s Depot Developing a Car Survival Kit focused on a winter time climate situation, has a more added focus on staying warm in a crisis situation. Even if that crisis situation is nothing more than you have slid off the road. Past years have proven that it is to easy to slide off the road, go into a drainage, and no one know you are even there. This more easily happens than one might think. Concern for safety in this situation can be compounded by continual heavy snows, and snow plows covering up your car. The other obvious concern, is breaking down or simply getting lost…

Genetic Engineering and the GMO Industry: The Corporate Hijacking of Food and Agriculture
From Survival and BeyondBy Colin Todhunter – Global Research “I recognized my two selves: a crusading idealist and a cold, granitic believer in the law of the jungle” – Edgar Monsanto Queeny, Monsanto chairman, 1943-63, “The Spirit of Enterprise”, 1934. When rich companies with politically-connected lobbyists and seats on government-appointed bodies bend policies for their own ends, we are in serious trouble. It is then that our democratic institutions become hijacked and our choices, freedoms and rights are destroyed. Corporate interests have too often used their dubious ‘science’, lobbyists, political connections and presence within the heart of governments, in conjunction with their public relations machines, to subvert democratic machinery for their own benefit. Once their power has been …
Why You Shouldn’t Count on Hunting After SHTF
From Survival and BeyondBy PJ – Prepper-Resources.com I know many hunters who think they will be able to rely on their skills when the SHTF, that they will be able to take game in order to sustain their family over a sustained period of time. In the short run this might be true, in the long run nothing could be further from the truth. If you sit down and take a look at the basic math of the position I’m about to take on this subject, the conclusion is irrefutable. Using the Whitetail Deer for my case study, let’s walk the dog on this one. – In the late 1800?s the population of the US was …
Technology Addiction in the Electronic Age: Worldwide Progress or Servitude?
From Survival and BeyondBy Joel S. Hirschhorn – Global Research Everywhere I look outside my home I see people busy on their high tech devices, while driving, while walking, while shopping, while in groups of friends, while in restaurants, while waiting in doctor offices and hospitals, while sitting in toilets – everywhere. While connected electronically, they are inattentive to and disconnected in physical reality. People have been steadily manipulated to become technology addicted. Technology is the opiate of the masses. This results in technology servitude. I am referring to a loss of personal freedom and independence because of uncontrolled consumption of many kinds of devices that eat up time and money. Most people do not use independent, critical thinking to question whether…
