Works Great, but Quality?,
First off, let me say that I love the design of this Canning Scoop. It can get into all the corners of your pot and scoops out 1 cup exactly, great for filling half-pint jars. My only concern was that the handle fell off after 2 uses. I sterilize my funnel & ladle along with my jars in boiling water for 10 minutes. After 2 sterilizations & uses, the handle fell part. Instead of returning it, I used some crazy glue to attach the 2 parts & its been working great. All my other ladles have now been retired!!

I got this in time to can tomato sauce and juice. Works great. Scoops into the tilted sauce pan; poured into the wide mouth funnel; and hangs on the pan’s rim = no sticky, messy handle.

|LOVE this and wouldn’t want to can without it,
This is one of those simple, but well designed products that after you get it, you wonder why you didn’t have this sooner. It’s perfectly shaped for scooping up the last bit in your pot. It appears very heat resistant, but also has a convenient hanging catch on the back so you can hang it on the rim of your pot instead of leaving it on the hot bottom. It cleans easily and I don’t ever want to do without it.
