Good morning, online shoppers! Today’s the day if you are an Amazon customer – it’s Prime Day in October. And there are all sorts of great prepper finds on the website. I went and found the best Prime Day deals for preppers so you don’t have to!

I’m also doing a bit of my Christmas shopping while things are marked down.

??Please use my link for shopping so that OP gets the commission. (It doesn’t cost you a penny extra but helps us a LOT!)

Please note that at the time of posting, these items were on sale and available. They do sell out quickly, and as this is a one-woman show, I cannot always keep up with the things that are out of stock.

On to the prepper goods!

Here are some items that preppers may find useful at a great price.

Amazon’s brand of household essentials are all 15%-50% off at this link. If you use this brand or have considered it for things like toilet paper, trash bags, and cleaning supplies, now is the time to check it out and get your home stocked up.

Looking for goodies for your bug out bags or car kits? I keep some of these little protein oatmeal packets. Are they the healthiest way to eat oatmeal? Certainly not. But would they taste good if you hadn’t had a hot meal in a while? Definitely. They’re also kid-friendly.

Here’s something for your medical kit: a 12-pack of isopropyl alcohol. It’s a steal of a deal and going fast.

Looking for something that you can use to cook on a woodstove or even over a fire? Check out this 15% off deal on Dutch ovens.

If you have a smoker in your family or preparedness group, some nicotine gum might just keep them from going crazy and taking everybody else with them.

Here’s a set of fireproof cloaks to help you and your family escape without harm in the event of a fire.

I’ve long advocated storing protein powder to help you boost your intake in the event of a disaster, but Helene has caused me to rethink that a little. It might also be good to have some ready-made protein shakes on hand so you don’t have to use any of your water for this.

Out of all the hydration drink mixes with electrolytes, Liquid IV is my all-time favorite. It tastes great and really helps you feel better immediately. They also have a sugar-free version.

The events in Helene have also made me think about how extremely important having at least some source of power is in a disaster, if only for communications. Here, you can find a variety of solar generators. I have personally tried the Jackery and Oupes brands and was very pleased with them.

I’m a big fan of this particular outdoor cooking kit.

I have talked about the importance of battery-operated headlamps until I’m blue in the face. This headlamp set by Energizer is a good one and you can get it for a song today.

One of the non-human heroes of the current disaster is ham radio. It might be time to grab this Baofeng handheld set while it’s on sale.

I can’t say enough about water treatment systems. The water is so contaminated right now from the debris, the dead, and the mud that I have no idea when it will ever be actually safe to drink. There are three things I recommend grabbing: individual straw-type water filters, Aquatabs for water treatment, and a larger but still portable gravity-fed water filter

I keep several of these splints kicking around in case of a broken bone.

Save 40% on the best survival book I own: The SAS Survival Handbook by Lofty Wiseman. I have one of these in my bag and I’ve given them as gifts many times. They are jam-packed with so many scenarios, and I don’t know of any other book that has everything in one place like this.

Many different kinds of emergency foods are on sale, from buckets to ration bars to individual freeze-dried ingredients. Browse the emergency food deals here.

Let me know if you have any awesome deals to add or if one of the deals listed here is sold out!
