Even if you haven’t witnessed a disaster firsthand, you’ve seen the devastation they cause and you know that you can never be too prepared. If you are out on the water; preparation is even more important. Safe drinking water is probably the most important thing to have in reserve when disaster strikes. 125 ml sachets of Datrex purified water are easy to dispense and loss is minimalized due to the durable packaging. What can I say, water in a bag (lots of bags),
I bought this 72 hour water supply as an addition to my “Earthquake/Emergency preparedness kit.” The water packages seem to be well constructed and haven’t burst under pressure, even when I sat on my bag! I don’t think there’s enough water for two people, especially if you’re on the move, but that’s why they’re called emergency rations. I recommend you buy 12 packets/person and have a Camelback or some other water container easily accessible and ready to go if the proverbial @#*! ever hits the fan! Good luck!

3 packets arrive broken,
I purchased these water packs for an emergency WTSHTF scenario, i bought the 3 day supply because i wanted to see how they arrived before buying more. i will not be buying more. they arrived in a plastic bag that was leaking water, three packs were empty and the water had leaked out of the plastic bag and gotten the box soggy. they were shipped with potable water tablets and mainstay emergency food bars, all arrived wet from the leaking datrex water packets. i will not purchase water from this company again.

Great Emergency Water,
I ordered three of these for our 72 hour emergency kit and came back to order some more for our pets. The pouches remind me of Capri Sun kid drinks. Ordered September 2011 and all pouches expire in 2016. One pack came in one plastic zip lock bag. Very light weight.
