Great sleepover bag for bigger kids and adults,
I have a tall 10 year old that no longer wants to go to sleep-overs in a kid looking sleeping bag. I selected this one because it’s a plain color, isn’t too warm for indoors, and has the nice pillow area at the top. My kids love to sleep on the floor, both at sleep-overs and just for fun in each others rooms. When you put a pillow outside a traditional kids bag, there’s always a space between the pillow and the bag half way through the night, resulting in their head ending up on the floor. I love the little space at the top that prevents this problem. It is easy to roll back up, which is important when they sleep at a friend’s house. My older teen daughter even wants one now to replace her similar, but small one.

Good first impression!,
I ordered this sleeping bag on Tuesday and I received it within a week (it arrived Thursday!).
So far it seems really nice, I’m glad I got mine so I could see what size I would need for my brother (because we’re planning on taking sleeping bags for Bonnaroo in June).
He tried to squeeze in but as the description says it is for people under 6ft, which is perfect for me and my little brother.
I like it so far but that might change when I actually try it out in June.
But overall I was very impressed with the quick shipping – will update more later.
Update: July 2012
I took this sleeping bag with me to Bonnaroo 2011, if you are not familiar, it is a 4 day music festival in Manchester, TN in the first weeks of June with some of the hottest artists and musicians. Man was it HOT in Manchester, this bag kept me comfy and didn’t get too hot, although by 7am it was already sizzling in the camp. When we were coming back, we slept outside of a gas station and I took it out and it was pretty comfy on top of concrete – never thought I’d be in that situation but hey, I’m glad I had this.
I took this with me to Oklahoma for Easter weekend and it held up okay against some of the rain storms on the way. I pull out this bag whenever my cousins come to sleep over – it is a cinch to put away because of the little straps it has on the side. That’s really why I love this bag, it is simple to roll up and put away and it has the right amount of padding – similar to a comforter but it stays cool in the summer heat. I love this bag, but I think it’s mostly suited for short girls and boys.

Perfect!,
I bought this for my eight year old son when he said his character one was “babyish”. It arrived sooner than expected and it’s exactly what I wanted for him. It’s puffier than I expected but still light enough for sleepovers. The lining is nice and smooth which is what he requested. He doesn’t like the brushed fabric linings. The spot to place his pillow is perfect because he tends to “squirt” his pillow out from under him and this will keep his head off the floor. It also has an attached cord to keep it rolled up. Oh, and two buttons to hold the sides together when rolling it up. All in all I’m very happy with the quality for the price. I’ve always had Coleman sleeping bags myself and appreciate their attention to detail.
