Great product to keep in a first aid kit! Stops bleeding by turning CELOX granules in to “gel”.
Gauze Pads are just CELOX infused Gauze.
Unlike other hemostatic products like “Quick Clot”, CELOX produces no heat.
“Quick Clot” can reach temperatures over 100 deg while in use; I suggest that you do some research about the side effects of all these products. If you have come this far to prepare your first aid kit with a hemostatic product I would looking in to how to use each one and weigh the pros and cons before making a purchase.
I thought this one is best my family for common injuries to more serious and deeper cuts. To use with little kids, adults, and elders. Just to hold us over until more medical attention can be obtained. I bought different sizes for different size injuries.
