Must have for every home,
I purchased this when I heard hurricane Sandy was on it’s way up. Fortuneat;y I did not lose power but if I had this would have come in very handy. We have power outages several times a year and I have my flashlights, candles, radio and batteries in one area but they seem to vanish through out the year. Nothing gets put back. With this tool I will keep in in my locked desk.
I did test out the featues and the siren shocked me because it was so loud. The flashlight and blinkers very bright, radio sounds good and it’s able to charge my cell phone.
When I ordered I didnt realize aside from the crank there’s also a Solar charger. There’s also an input for a DC charger if you need charged quickly. The DC cord is not inclucded but I have plenty of them layng about.
I think it’s going to be a bad winter from what I’ve heard, this is a must have. NO batteries ever needed. It gives me some piece of mind. I plan of buying several more as holiday gifts.
Would also be great for camping or just leave in glove box

|Better Than I Expected,
The Bear Motion radio was more than I had expected for the price and will work nicely for my emergency gear. The radio quality is good the light is bright and the cell phone charger works. It comes with some adapters for cell phones. I recommend that one checks with the supplier first to make sure that the specific adapter needed in packed with the item. There was a small pack of adapters included with the shipment, but if one needs to order a specific adapter, the cost is very low. I thought I had a problem with the item, sent an email and was contacted in a very timely manner. I would recommend this sellar and the item.

Since going through the storm Sandy and losing power and heat for 2 weeks, not to mention not being able to get around because of the gas shortage, I’ve had to analyze necessary items to have in my house in case of another devastating occurrence.
The Bear Motion dynamo is a product that every household should have; not only is it self-powered and doesn’t need batteries but it can charge your cell phone, is a flashlight and an AM/FM radio!
This small dynamo packs a powerful punch and will definitely buy more of this item!
