Most of us don’t think far enough ahead, especially if we trust our weatherperson. Dropping the kids off at school, out hiking, hunting, fishing or running we normally are not prepared when wet weather strikes. How many times have you a left for work or an outing on a bright sunny day, only to have it cloud up and pour. This is a MUST HAVE item, that everyone should have at home, in the car, boat, RV and OTV. These items cost so little, and can save so much it doesn’t make sense not to stock up

Lightweight, compact, does the job,
These ponchos are very compact and lightweight, and a good fit for a first-aid or emergency kit. We took them on a walking holiday and had to use them two days. They are just big enough for a very tall person, and cover almost all of a short person. They are one-time-use only as they don’t fold back up easily, and the plastic is thin. Also it would be nice if they came in a little less packaging. For these two reasons I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. But they definitely beat carrying a raincoat about with you.

|Cheap, single use ponchos,
These are definitely worth having on hand to keep yourself dry if you are caught in the rain or snow. I bought them to provide protection on the water rides at Disneyland. They certainly work fine for that, but keep in mind that they are made of the very thinnest plastic material you can imagine. They will tear at the slightest snag or tug. So if you only need them for one or two uses, they’re fine. With that in mind, the price is reasonable.

I purchased this poncho so my daughter could wear it over her wedding dress during the dinner. The menue was a clambake, very messy. Everyone laughed, but her dress was stainproof.
