Rothco’s Type III 550 lb. Paracord is 100{0e3fbd49920d66d312335c9ab31e3d7b441ff7521e58af8d4d0648ba5d548198} nylon, 5/32″ in diameter and has a 7 strand core. It made by a certified US Government contractor and has a 550 lb test strength.

Sheathing has small snags,
This paracord seems to be of sufficient quality. One thing to be aware of is that the outside sheathing tends to have some small snags in it instead of being smooth.

|How do they offer this so cheap,
I bought three bundles of this paracord hoping it was good figuring it was probably junk as the price on it was very low. However I recived it and it is actually a good quality cord well worth more then the price being charged. I paid $4 per cord. I would recomend this to anyone looking for paracord or rope for tent tiedowns or whatever.

|Exactly what I needed,
It’s paracord! What more can I really say… I haven’t tested the supposed 550 pound limit (my 550 pound dumbells are, uh, at the shop). If I wanted some paracord to use with a heavy weight load, I might consider getting some from a well-trusted source, but since I have no intention of doing anything like that (just needed to wrap a knife handle) this stuff is perfect: stylish and CHEAP!
