Original, simple two-point nylon web design describes the BLACKHAWK! Universal Tactical 1.25-Inch Sling. It is one size fits all and is fully adjustable.
I bought this sling for an AK-74 rifle. It is basically the same style as the old M16A1 sling but using two polymer “M” buckles. It is more adaptable than the M16A1 sling in that it is longer, allowing a comfortable fit across the chest wearing vests, heavy coats or other gear. If the sling is too long for your needs it can be easily shortened by carefully cutting it to the desired length and sealing the frayed ends with a lighter or other flame source (it is nylon).
I first thought I would replace the original polymer “M” buckles with steel M16A1 buckles from my junk drawer but I feel now that the polymer ones are plenty robust and are less apt to mar the finish of my rifle. There is a growing proliferation of tactical slings out there that cost much more than this strong, simple and inexpensive sling. I would give it a “5” but I kinda felt silly saying “I love it”. It’s just a good, simple sling at an affordable price.

I must agree with one reviewer when he said “Go to the hardware store and buy 10 feet of 1 1/4″ flat nylon webbing, with two matching plastic buckles.” That is exactly what you will get with this order.
This is not a tactical sling in any regard.
My mistake was the name on the label. I will be more careful in the future. “Blackhawk” doesn’t mean “no questions asked” quality!
But it did save me a trip to my local Tru-Value Hardware store.
Synopsis: If you are looking for a good AR15 sling… move along.

Like the title says, it’s simple, functional and easy, also high quality. I’m not disappointed. I was only disapointed in how slow the shipping was took over two weeks to get it.
I would not recommend for anyone looking for a tactical 3 point bedazzled tacticool sling, and recommend it for someone who wants something easy and simple yet durable.
