First off, it’s not metal(obviously) but don’t let that fool you into thinking that this is a toy. Very reusable, for lack of a better word. Easy to sharpen on anything coarse such as asphalt,brick, concrete, etc..maintains a sharp point longer than one would think.This can go through multiple(and I mean multiple) layers of cardboard that I folded in half as many times as I could and this thing would implale through it all and still maintain a sharp and gruesome point. Human flesh doesn’t stand a chance. Definitely a passable self defense tool for that last ditch effort, God forbid.

This thing is great, goes with me everywhere, strap it to your inner leg, or outer forearm. It also has a belt loop if youre into wearing it on your waist.
First thing I should say is that this is a self defense tool, not a toy, and as such is designed for JABBING your attacker. NOT FOR CUTTING.
Anyone familiar with polymer plastic knows – first thing when I opened the box my wife asks if it will “cut” her and I showed her it would do no such thing by using it on my neck as if it were a knife. Not even red marks, so forget about “cutting” or “slashing someone’s throat open” with this. It’s a puncture tool.
This is the one to get, cheap, light, non metal (wont set off metal detector!) and durable.
